This summer, New School Environmental Studies students Ace and Lili spent several days a week on Governors Island, the mysterious former military base located between Manhattan and Brooklyn, creating the islands first community garden. Two Masters in Musical Theater at The New School for Drama
As part of the course "New Orleans: The Politics of Disaster and Recover," Lang students learned about New Orleans history and the current state of the city, then spend one week in New Orleans during Spring Break working with a local community partner, the Urban Conservancy.
