Graduate Certificate in Media Management

Media Management Certificate

The New School's Graduate Certificate in Media Management meets the challenges posed by new and emerging media technologies and evolving corporate structure by training students in key areas of communication and convergence for the 21st century.

The Graduate Certificate in Media Management is a 12-credit program, and all credits can be applied toward the MA in Media Studies for students who are admitted to that program. Certificate students must complete four three-credit classes from media management curriculum areas and a ten-page synthesis paper. Key curriculum areas include industry perspectives, media management and leadership, media economics, information technologies, competitive strategies, and corporate responsibility.

The Graduate Certificate in Media Management is offered both on campus at The New School and online. Students can complete the certificate on site, online, or in combination.
