The Peace Corps Fellows Program at
Milano The New School for Management and Urban Policy serves returning
Peace Corp volunteers (RPCV) who wish to continue making a difference
in the world. They are attracted by Milano's foundation of social responsibility
and commitment to the study of urban issues, social justice, and the human
social dimension of any group. Milano offers a unique experience to RPCVs
with a curriculum that advances their knowledge of management and policy
issues relevant to serving communities nonprofit, business, social,
economic and that empowers them with the writing, presentation,
analytical, and quantitative skills essential for a successful transition
into the post-Peace Corp workforce.

Requirements
Milano seeks a diverse and mature student body possessing
a broad range of experiences, ages, and backgrounds. Admission is based
on consideration of a encompassing review of an applicant's potential
for successfully completing a master's degree program including: demonstrated
academic achievement, motivation, leadership, and maturity as proven
by prior work experience, letters of recommendation, and a personal or
telephone interview.

Benefits
Every RPCV who is admitted as a Peace Corp Fellow will receive a minimum
of 50% of their tuition paid. They will also be encouraged to apply for
need-based aid. During their first semester, each Fellow will contact Milanos Career
Development and Placement Office to begin the process of finding
employment within an area of interest.

to Apply
Application for admission is considered complete when the following materials
have been received:
*Completed Peace Corps Description of Service (DOS) signed by the country
director;
*Completed application form, which includes an essay of approximately
300 words explaining how the applicant's proposed program of study will
enhance his or her professional development;
*Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended by
the applicant;
*Two letters of recommendation to be sent directly to Milano by the persons writing the letters.
