Admission

The Milano School is currently accepting MA, MS, and certificate applications for spring and fall 2013 admission.

The Office of Graduate Admission will be closed for the winter holiday from December 22, 2012 to January 1, 2013.  We will reopen on January 2, 2013. 

 
There is no typical Milano School student. Our student body reflects the full spectrum of ages, races, ethnicities, countries of origin, and professional backgrounds. We seek candidates whose life experience and moral commitment is as substantial as their academic achievement.

We Want to Get to Know You

Although not required for admission, a voluntary interview is an opportunity for you to share your passions and goals with the the Milano Admission Committee. We encourage you to schedule an informational interview after you submit your application. 

What We Look for in an Applicant to Graduate School

Applications are evaluated based on a variety of criteria, including motivation, career goals, community involvement, and demonstrated academic achievement. A decision to admit is based on the committee's belief in your potential to successfully complete an advanced degree. As part of the admission process, your statement of purpose and letters of recommendation are carefully reviewed for evidence of interpersonal skills, maturity, and leadership potential, among other qualities.
