Immediacy is a media-rich, online space beyond classrooms and labs that projects creative and provocative student work in the graduate Media Studies program and generates critical discussion about it. Immediacy captures the Media Studies Program’s creative, intellectual, and action-oriented spirit. Immediacy is also proof that theory and praxis coexist, that we can think and learn by creating as well as by critiquing, and by giving as well as by receiving response.
