.jpg) Mixed Messages is an annual student exhibition presented by the School of Media Studies. The exhibited work, selected by a panel of distinguished jurors, represents the best film/video, audio, and digital media works created at The New School during the past year. Students featured in the show receive valued awards and prizes in recognition of their outstanding work.

Previous years' entries have gone on to win Student Academy Awards and have been exhibited at the Berlin Film Festival, the Whitney Museum of Art, Sundance Film Festival, and many other prestigious venues.
