Degree Requirements

Students must successfully complete 39 credits to fulfill degree requirements. All degree candidates are required to take Understanding Media Studies, Media Studies: Ideas, Media Practices: Concepts, three credits of methods coursework, and a minimum of two practice and project courses. Further information on the required courses, practice and project courses, and thematic focus areas may be found at the corresponding links. Students can choose either the thesis or non-thesis option; both options require the completion of 39 credits.
