Beatriz Vilamor, Media Studies, 09
Beatriz is a graduate student at The New School, where she is pursuing an MA in Media Studies (Candidate, 2009). In addition to studying full-time, she interns at NBC News and works at Parsons The New School for Design.
She earned a BA in International Relations, Minor in Communications, at Franklin College Switzerland in 2003. Beatriz embarked on a career in public relations, working at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide/Manila for three and a half years, prior to moving to New York City for graduate school. Born and raised in Manila, Philippines, Beatriz is the eldest of three children in a close-knit family that loves to eat, talk and travel.
