MA TESOL information sessions are held in an open forum at our New York City campus. They typically include a presentation and Q&A with faculty and admission advisors. These events are normally scheduled on weekday evenings

You can also schedule individual appointments with an admission counselor to discuss the program and admission and financial aid processes. Please call the Office of Admission at 212.229.5630 (select “graduate programs” then “The New School Graduate Programs” from the phone menu options) to arrange a mutually-convenient time.

Additionally, the assistant director of English Language Studies, Lesley Painter-Farrell is available to meet personally with prospective MA TESOL students. You can arrange a meeting with the assistant director by calling 212.229.5372.

Online chats are scheduled throughout the year for prospective students. These real-time chats are hosted by an admission counselor and members of the MA TESOL faculty. This is a convenient way to obtain information about the MA program, the faculty, and the university. No special software is required.
