Principal Conductor of both the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra and the Israel Chamber Orchestra, he celebrated his 20th anniversary as Lifetime Music Director of the Vienna Chamber Orchestra during the 1995-96 season. Mr. Entremont has also performed as guest conductor and pianist with such orchestras as the Royal Philharmonic, the Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, the Vienna Symphony, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Orchestra of St. Luke's, and the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra.

A Knight of the Legion d'Honneur, he was also awarded Austria's First Class Cross of Honor for the Arts and Sciences.
