Mannes Repertory Orchestra
Mannes Repertory Orchestra is a reading ensemble that supports the college's conducting program. Not only does participation in the orchestra (chosen by recruitment) broaden a student's repertory experience, but it is an opportunity for orchestral musicians to earn extra income.

Mannes Repertory Chorus is a reading ensemble that supports the college's choral conducting program. Not only does participation in the chorus broaden a student's repertory experience, it is also an opportunity for singers to earn extra income
On- and Off-Campus Employment
For students seeking non-musical work experience and extra income, Mannes Career Services and The New School Office of Career Development provide information about employment opportunities. Please visit The New School Careers Job Board or the Mannes Career Services Blog for up-to-date employment opportunities.
On-Campus Employment
There are numerous on-campus positions at Mannes and at The New School ranging from orchestra librarian and student office assistant to concert usher and audition week ambassador. Visit individual offices to learn about available positions.
International students are allowed to work on campus only and are encouraged to see the International Student Advisor for further information on work eligibility.
Students must have a U.S. Social Security number in order to apply for work on campus. The Mannes Business Office manages payroll for student on-campus employment.
Off-Campus Employment
Many students work off campus in restaurants, doctor's offices, small businesses, and retail outlets. Positions are advertised at Mannes often. To learn more about off-campus positions, visit the Mannes Career Services Blog or contact:
