Diploma students who are U.S. citizens or legal residents may be eligible for most forms of government financial aid, student loans, veterans' benefits, etc. Most forms of financial aid require that a student maintain a specified number of credits each semester and maintain satisfactory academic progress. Published requirements are available from the Financial Aid Office.
Students and prospective students should submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to become eligible for need-based aid. The FAFSA can be completed on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov
It is the student's responsibility to consult with the financial aid director and the Extension Division director to determine these requirements and to plan and maintain his/her course schedule accordingly.
Merit scholarship assistance is not available through the Extension Division Diploma Program.
