Please be aware that as of the fall 2012 semester, private lessons are offered only to those enrolled in the Mannes Extension Division Diploma program or another full-time degree program at The New School.
Students enrolled in other divisions of The New School who wish to take private lessons at Mannes should first consult with their academic advisor in their home division. If permission is granted, they can contact mannesextension@newschool.edu for more information. Note: There is a tuition surcharge for all private lessons.
Available Subjects
The Mannes Extension Division offers private instruction in a number of musical instruments. Academic subjects, such as theory, ear training, and dictation, are not offered for private study.
