  • Receive substantial training in keyboard skills
  • Take courses in 20th-century theory, with review of recent trends in theory offered in undergraduate and graduate programs
  • Attend practice, sessions in paper presentation, and national conferences
  • May choose to study ear training and dictation pedagogy at both undergraduate and graduate levels if interested in pursuing careers in private and classroom instruction
