Mannes guitar players enjoy all the benefits of attending a small, collegial conservatory, as well as additional opportunities to:
- Participate in the Mannes chamber music program, early music ensemble, guitar ensemble, and attend weekly performance classes and concerts
- Take courses in baroque and renaissance improvisation and ornamentation, transcription, pedagogy, and composition
- Study with renowned musicians such as Roland Dyens, Eliot Fisk, Scott Tenant, and Oscar Ghiglia who have given master classes at Mannes in the past few years
- Attend the New York Guitar Institute Seminar which is hosted each year at Mannes, and features world-class performers and lecturers
