M.M., The Juilliard School; B.A., Pomona College. Piano studies with Daniel Pollack, Rosina Lhevinne, Josef Raieff, Russell Sherman. Former faculties Holy Cross College, Worcester, MA; New England Conservatory Prep Division, Boston. Mannes Prep Division Faculty since 1994.

Winner, Gaudeamus Competition, Prize for Interpretation of Contemporary Music, Special Prize for Best Performance of a Dutch Work. National reputation as performer of contemporary piano works. Honored with the 2012 ASCAP John Cage Award for premiering, promoting, recording contemporary music. Concerts at festivals in Germany such as Darmstadt, the Approximation Festival and Club Contemporary Classical; appearances at festivals in the US such as Other Minds, Sonoklect; concerts in major venues and universities in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Florida, Washington D.C. Appearances in countless NYC venues from concert halls to schools to theaters to clubs. Curator for The Flea Theater and The Stone. Published article in ARCANA IV (John Zorn, editor). Collaboration with Sideband (Princeton Laptop Orchestra) and LEMUR (musical robots). Workshops in new and traditional piano music. Recordings for ENTERTAINMENT ONE (formerly KOCH INTERNATIONAL), MAJOR WHO, CRI, 00 DISCS, NEUMA, BRIDGE. Ongoing performance projects such as "Multimedia Piano" and "Digital Debussy" take place under the name "Exploding Piano."
