Registration for continuing education students opens approximately six weeks before the beginning of the semester. Students can register online, by telephone, or in person; please note that we cannot accept registration by mail.

Visit the registration office in person at 72 Fifth Avenue, 2nd floor. The office is open Monday - Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:45 p.m., and Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.
All registration procedures, including payment arrangements, must be completed before the start of classes. All registrants must pay a nonrefundable registration fee at the time they register. Tuition is due in full before the first lesson or class. No one will be admitted to lessons or classes until all fees are paid and the bursar has approved the registration form. The New School accepts most major credit cards. Checks or money orders should be made payable to The New School. Cash payments are accepted only when the Bursar's Office is open. Payment by cash is not recommended.
