Linda Abrams Reimer, Senior Vice President for Student Services
Linda joined the university in 1990 as Director of Housing and in her current role oversees student housing and residence life, student health and support services, student and campus Life, international student services, recreation and intramural sports, and student communications. Prior to working at The New School, Linda served as assistant to the vice president for finance and administration at Brooklyn College (1989-1990); director of housing, assistant dean of the college, and director of business affairs/auxiliary services at Manhattanville College (1981-1989); and, director of the Midtown Center, assistant to the vice president for administrative and student services, and dance department administrator at New York University (1978-1981). Linda holds an MA in psychology, an MFA in performing arts, and a BS in education, all from New York University. She also has a certificate from Harvard College for completion of their management development program and has twice served as an evaluation team member for the Middle States Association Commission on Higher Education.
