Frank Barletta, Senior Vice President for Finance & Business
Frank was appointed associate vice president and treasurer of The New School in 2002 and promoted to senior vice president for finance and business in 2006. In his current position he is responsible for the finance, budget and planning, real estate, and business operations areas. Prior to his appointment he served as vice president of finance at The Katherine Gibbs School (a subsidiary of Career Education Corporation) and vice president for finance and administrative services at Saint Peter's College from 1979 to 2001. Frank is a CPA and was an audit manager with a regional CPA firm prior to his entry into higher education. During his career he served on many not-for-profit boards, Middle States Commission on Higher Education accreditation visiting teams, and as a "finance associate" for a number of Middle States periodic review evaluations. He earned his business degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, with a major in accounting.
