Steve was appointed assistant vice president for Budget and Planning in 2008 and was promoted to vice president for Finance and Business and treasurer in 2012. His current responsibilities include accounting, budgeting, financial planning and reporting, investments and cash management, payroll, business services, and risk management. Before joining The New School, Steve spent more than 20 years as chief financial officer and treasurer of a wholesale distribution company, where he also served on the board of directors. He earned his business degree, with a major in accounting, from Manhattan College.
