Technology Tutoring for Faculty
The Office of the Provost is pleased to announce that New School faculty can now sign up for Tech-Shops, free, individualized tutoring sessions on a variety of computer programs. This program was introduced in spring 2011 to provide support to faculty members who want to incorporate more technology into their teaching. Several highly qualified students are working with the provost’s office to provide tutoring sessions, which will be available by appointment. Sessions can take place in a computer lab or in faculty offices (provided the office computers have the necessary software). Tutors are available to help with a range of computer programs, from Blackboard and PowerPoint to more specialized software.
To make an appointment, email facultytechtutoring@newschool.edu and provide a brief description of the kind of computer tutorials you are interested in. Here is a list of possibilities:
