Every year, the university recognizes a special group of faculty members who have been nominated by their students and colleagues as Distinguished University Teachers. These faculty members embody the highest standards for teaching, advancement of scholarship, university citizenship, and community engagement. Above all, they demonstrate a passion for teaching and a remarkable capacity to impart knowledge and inspire critical engagement with ideas and with the world.
