Online Form: Intent to Apply for an Externally Funded Sponsored Project
Faculty and staff can use the link above to communicate to grantors and research staff their intention to apply. The link will open up a form that you can easily submit online. Complete only applicable information about the funding opportunity, application, and deadline, and click Submit to notify staff of your intention to apply. Doing this will make it easier to get assistance and support as you prepare and develop a proposal.

University Proposal Authorization Form (Word) (PDF)
This form must be completed and signed by the New School faculty or staff member serving as principal investigator (PI) or project director (PD) and must be approved by the university before a proposal can be submitted to an external funder for sponsored research, projects, or programs. These conditions apply to proposals submitted to external organizations, including private foundations, federal and local government agencies, NGOs, associations, lead or prime institutions, and subcontracting organizations.
