Amy Minter, Coordinator, Student Academic Support and Special Projects, Provost’s Office

Amy Minter, Coordinator, Student Academic Support and Special Projects, Provost’s Office. I have worked in the Office of the Provost since 2004 in a variety of roles related to university academic planning initiatives. In 2009, I was tasked to serve as the primary resource person in the Provost’s Office for student academic concerns. I am actively engaged in planning university-wide civic engagement initiatives as well as managing the Provost’s faculty funding opportunities and supporting faculty and student research. Much of the work I do is to support students generally, but my interest in social justice stems from the need to provide better support mechanisms for students and faculty as well as providing academic and extracurricular opportunities for students to get involved in community service work. I hold a MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College. I can be reached at mintera@newschool.edu
