Dennis A. Derryck, (PhD, Fordham University),  Professor of Professional Practice at Milano The New School for Management and Urban Policy.  I have a lifetime commitment to social change and social justice in both theory and practice. I have worked on the inclusion of minorities in segregated construction unions and  am a founding board member and recent past Chair of WE ACT for Environmental Justice, a national leader in the environmental justice space serving communities of color. I recently launched a social enterprise, Corbin Hill Rd Farm, to address food access, food justice and food security by providing fresh produce to neighborhoods in the South Bronx and Harlem.  The design re-envisions the relationship between social investors, farmers and farm production and communities. The venture addresses the issue of sovereignty by making it possible for residents to become stockholders and economic citizens in this social venture and not the traditional role commonly assigned to low-income communities, that of being clients.  I can be reached at http://www.newschool.edu/uploadedFiles/Faculty/Milano/CV_Dennis_Derryck.pdf www.corbinhillfarm.com
