ASSOCIATE PROVOST FOR INSTITUTIONAL RESEARCH AND EFFECTIVENESS
Paula came to The New School as associate provost for Institutional Research and Effectiveness in 2012. She leads the Institutional Research and Effectiveness team to gather, analyze, and present a wide range of data to guide university planning.
Prior Professional Experience
Before coming to the New School, Paula was executive director of the Center for Institutional Effectiveness at the College of New Jersey (TCNJ), where she supported institutional research and planning in several different roles over a decade. Her prior work includes positions at Rutgers University in the Department of Agricultural, Food and Resource Economics (1999 to 2002) and as a postdoctoral research associate for the Center for Theoretical and Applied Genetics (1996 to 1999).
As a member of the Steering Committee of the Northeast Association for Institutional Research, Paula has been active in setting the national agenda for institutional research.
Paula holds a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Rutgers University.
