As part of the course "New Orleans: The Politics of Disaster and Recover," Lang students learned about New Orleans history and the current state of the city, then spend one week in New Orleans during Spring Break working with a local community partner, the Urban Conservancy. Students work on projects around urban issues and are able to interview community members and work with grassroots organizations.
