This past winter break 2008, Lang students explored the archaeological and cultural heritage of the Yucatán region. In conjunction with a history lecture taught by Professor Paul Ross, students visited spectacular Mayan ruins, colonial monasteries and haciendas, and other cultural sites. In addition, students took intensive Spanish courses depending on their own level with introductory lessons in the indigenous Maya language.
