David Thomson

David Thomson has worked as a collaborative artist in the fields of music, dance, theater and performance with such artists as Trisha Brown (‘87-‘93), Jane Comfort, Bebe Miller, Susan Rethorst, Remy Charlip, David Roussève, Ralph Lemon, Tracie Morris, Muna Tseng, Sekou Sundiata, Meg Stuart, Dean Moss/Layla Ali and Marina Abramović among many others. He was also a founding member of the acclaimed a capella performance group, Hot Mouth. His work has been presented by The Kitchen, Danspace Project at St Mark's Church, Dance Theater Workshop, Roulette and Movement Research at Judson Church.

how to develop tasks that reveal the inner logic and vulnerabilities of the interpreter; reduction of movement to clarify and multiply intent for performer and viewer; creating intimate chamber works and experiences
