Students interested in the Dance program must apply and be accepted to Eugene Lang College. For the Dance program, students are also encouraged to participate in an open house and placement audition. Applicants are encouraged to attend the open house in New York City, but those who cannot attend can submit a video audition for advanced placement.

Open House and Auditions
This year, the Dance program is hosting prospective dance students at three combined admission open house and audition events. Those who attend the open house will enjoy light refreshments with representatives of the Dance program, take a guided tour of the New School campus, and experience a class with our faculty at New York Live Arts (formerly Dance Theater Workshop), 219 West 19th Street. This is an excellent opportunity for interested students to ask questions about The New School, Eugene Lang College, and the Dance program. Register below for a Dance Open House/Audition.
- Register now for Saturday, February 8, 2014 (12:00-5:00 p.m.)
