If you are a high school senior and Eugene Lang College is your
first choice of colleges and you wish have an admission decision as early
as possible, you should apply for admission under the Early Decision option. Early Decision admissions are considered
binding. If your application to Eugene Lang College is accepted, you are
expected to enroll at
Eugene Lang College for next September and withdraw your applications from all other colleges.
Occasionally, the Admission Committee
will delay acting on an Early Decision application in order to obtain
additional information about the student, such as first-semester senior
grades, new writing samples, or additional recommendations. In these
cases, the applicant will be notified that his or her application has
been moved into the regular application pool pending receipt of the
additional information, and he or she is released from any special
obligation to attend Eugene Lang College.
