Students who want a solid liberal arts education and are also interested in a career in design or music have a special opportunity at The New School: a five-year Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Fine Arts dual degree offered by Eugene Lang College with Parsons The New School for Design or with The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music.
Applicants to a BA/BFA program must file the online admission application for that program. The applications are reviewed by a joint committee of the admission staffs of Lang and Parsons or Lang and Jazz.
Both high school seniors and current college students interested in a combined program can apply for admission (as first-year or transfer students, respectively). To learn more about the BA/BFA programs, visit the BA/BFA website.
