International Auditions
The Office of Admission is pleased to announce that New School Jazz auditions will be held this year in La Plata, Argentina. Other international auditions will be announced as dates and locations are confirmed. All applicants are welcome to audition in Argentina in place of submitting an audition recording or coming to our New York City campus to audition. Applicants auditioning in Argentina will be evaluated in the same manner as those applying with any other audition method.
South American Auditions
Auditions in La Plata, Argentina, were held on October 6, 2012, in conjunction with our partner organization EMU Educación Musical and the Fifth Annual International Jazz Seminar. We do not anticipate any additional audition dates in South America for fall 2013 admission.
Israel Auditions
We are currently planning auditions to be held in Israel for fall 2013 admission. Date and location will be announced soon.
Procedure for Scheduling an International Audition
Prospective students must follow the normal admission process. All required application documents must be received by the Office of Admission before the audition date. After you have submitted the online application, you will be invited to a live audition. At that point, you will have the option of scheduling your audition in Argentina. Read the application instructions for more information about the process.
