Profile:Christopher Hoffman moved to New York after working as a
post-production and music engineer at Chicago Recording Company. In addition to
his work at the new school, he currently works as a free-lance engineer,
producer, multi-instrumentalist and runs Hundred Pockets Records. He is a proud member of Henry Threadgill's
Zooid and leads his own ensemble called Sad Companion. He has worked with Martin
Scorsese, Randy Newman, Marc Ribot, Iron
& Wine, Bebel Gilberto, Ryan Adams, Devotchka, Butch Morris, Christina
Courtin, Willie Nile, Agnus & Julia Stone, Dar Williams, Ryan Scott, Spring
Awakening, John Zorn, Jeremiah Cymerman, Clare & The Reasons
