Profile:As a
touring and recording artist, Elisabeth Lohninger has performed in Europe, the
Middle East, the US and Mexico. She has released multiple highly
regarded jazz albums, most notably “Elisabeth Lohninger Quartet: LIVE” (Lofish
Music 2012), “Christmas In July” (Jazzsick Records 2011), "Songs Of Love And Destruction"
(Lofish Music 2010), “TrioNada” with tap dancer Max Pollak and vibraphonist Tim
Collins (Lofish Music 2008), "The Only Way Out Is Up" (Lofish Music
2006), "Beneath Your Surface" (Lofish Music 2004), and "Austrian
LiedGood" with pianist Walter Fischbacher (SBF Records). She has written,
produced and recorded Electronica tracks for TV shows such as “One Life To
Live”, “The Precinct”, “Alias", and “The Young And The Restless”. As a film
composer she received the Wasserman Award (awarded by the NYU Film Festival)
for the short film "I’m Thursdays" by British filmmaker Helena Smith.
