Fauré: Piano Trio in D Minor, Op. 120
Harbison: Piano Trio No. 2 “Short Stories”
Schubert: Piano Trio No. 2 in E-flat Major, Op. 100

Jesse Mills, Raman Ramakrishnan, and Rieko Aizawa, long-time friends, formed the Horszowski Trio in 2011. The trio, which takes its name from legendary pianist Mieczysław Horszowski (Aizawa's teacher at the Curtis Institute), performs a repertoire spanning traditional and contemporary music. Based in New York, the members of the Horszowski Trio teach at Columbia University and the Longy School of Music at Bard College.

Two-time Grammy-nominated violinist Mills first performed with Ramakrishnan—the founding cellist of the prize-winning Daedalus Quartet—at the Kinhaven Music School more than twenty years ago. The pair met pianist Aizawa, who was discovered by Alexander Schneider, in New York. Aizawa, who made her United States concerto debuts at the Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall, performed with Mills and Ramakrishnan at schools such as Juilliard and venues like the Marlboro Festival.

Founded in 1957, the Schneider Concerts chamber music series is praised as being “one of the best deals in town for lovers of classical music” by the New York Times. The series has presented many of the world’s chamber music notables before their rise to fame: Peter Serkin, the Guarneri String Quartet, and Tashi made their New York debuts in Schneider Concerts, and Yefim Bronfman, Yo-Yo Ma, and Murray Perahia performed in the series early in their careers.
