Testimonies from Students Who Earned the Creative Arts and Health Certificate
Completing the Creative Arts and Health Certificate along with my bachelor's degree allowed me to explore the growing field of music therapy. Learning classroom techniques on-site and pursuing an internship gave me the hands-on experience I needed. The certificate strengthened my degree and prepared me for a job in which I can make a difference in people's lives and for application to a master's program.
—Ilana Worrell, vocalist
I have played at venues such as The Blue Note, Lincoln Center, and Kennedy Center, but those experiences were not as gratifying as playing at the hospice center where I volunteer. I highly recommend the Creative Arts and Health Certificate. The program enabled me to explore music's healing effects and share them with others. The faculty, many of whom are practitioners in clinical settings, inspired me profoundly.
