New School University Jazz was founded in 1986 as a place offering aspiring musicians the unique oppurtunity to study with and learn from the "masters of Jazz." Relying on the skills and expertise of an internally renowned artist-faculty, the Program encourages and nurtures each student's unique talents, cultivating the future generation of Jazz leaders.
