Voices is an annual publication of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry written by IRP members, many of whom have never been published before. The Writing Workshop study group was instrumental in developing members’ talents and encouraging them to submit their work. This year, in an effort to ensure impartiality, names were removed from the work before it was judged by the Reading Committee. The committee, composed of the editor and nine readers, selected 25 out of 56 entries for publication. At the Voices reception in the fall, the authors were recognized by their colleagues for their achievement.
