Program Cost and Scholarships

All costs listed below are the student's responsibility, unless otherwise specified.

Fixed Costs

Tuition, 6 credits
The cost per credit is the same as for the fall and spring semesters.

IFP Program Fees

$500 covers administrative costs associated with running the spring-summer program.

Additional Variable Costs

  1. Airfare to and from the program site
  2. Local travel and transportation
  3. Living and personal expenses beyond housing. Please note that housing is provided; because of university policy, students may not opt out of housing arrangements.
  4. Vaccinations and other medical expenses
  5. Visas, see the visa information page for details

Financing the IFP

 

Students with Milano scholarships can apply them towards IFP summer tuition.
There is also a $500 IFP program fee.


For other programs, issues concerning carrying over academic year (fall-spring) scholarships to the summer session, personal loans, scholarships, and other sources of financial aid, please contact Student Financial Services in advance at sfs@newschool.edu or 212.229.8930. The GPIA cannot answer these financial questions. Sources of aid come from University Student Financial Services. Students are still responsible for the remainder of their tuition and the IFP program fee.
