Bio: I am here at the New School to explore the intersections of human rights, education, media, and advocacy in the context of grassroots social movements and economic development. I enjoy working with kids, and am currently teaching a high school human rights course through the Advocacy Lab.
Prior to GPIA, I was preparing for a career as a cultural anthropologist. I grew up in San Diego but have traveled and lived all over the US, Latin America and Europe. I have a particular affection for Latin America, epsecially Brazil, but am eager to learn about and travel to other regions of the world (after I go back to Rio this summer).
