Information Technology provides telephone services and support including new service requests and service problem resolutions.

Use

Basic procedures for use of New School telephones are available for your reference. User guides, reference cards and voicemail instructions are also available in pdf format.

Getting Started

For changes to phone service please submit a Service Order Request Form.

For new installations or relocations, please complete the Move Request Form (PDF) and submit it to DesignAndConstruction@newschool.edu.

Help

If you are having trouble with an existing line, such as a lack of dial a tone, static noise, audio deficiencies, or a crossed line, please submit a Repair Order Request Form.

Additional Information

Please note that some calling restrictions exist on university telephones. All 900 numbers are blocked. Additionally, the The New School blocks calls to 411 or 555-1212 for cost issues. If you need access to external directories, telephone numbers can be obtained by going on the web to sites like "Superpages" or "Yellow Pages".
