Google has made updates to New School Mail so that you can skip the process of downloading and searching your computer for your attachment. Instead, Google has made it possible to view attached files and save them directly to your New School Google Drive without ever leaving your inbox.
Next time you open email, you will see that attachments are displayed with improved thumbnail previews.
When you click on an attachment preview, a full-screen display of the file will appear. You can read text, search it, and look through numerous file attachments right from the message itself.
You can also save attached files directly to your New School Google Drive, by clicking the Drive button (as below). This buttom will appear as you roll your cursor over the thumbnail. If you prefer to download the attachment to your computer, this functionality is retained (download arrow).
