Get New School Email on a mobile device or a mail client using POP, IMAP, and MAPI settings for your New School Google Apps account.

Use

When configuring a mobile device or a mail client, we recommended configuring your device for IMAP. Unlike POP, IMAP offers two-way communication between your New School Email and your mobile device or email client. This means that actions you perform on a mobile device or an email client will appear in your inbox when you login to New School Google Apps using a web browser.

Getting Started

To get started with your setup, first enable IMAP in your New School Google Apps:

  1. Sign in to your account at mail.newschool.edu.
  2. Click the gear icon in the upper-right and select Mail Settings.
  3. Click Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
  4. Select Enable IMAP.

Additional Information

Configuring POP or IMAP access for your New School Google Apps email address is very similar to configuring it with a Gmail account. However, any time you're asked for your username during the configuration process, you'll need to enter your full email address (YourNetID@newschool.edu).
