Recently, there has been an increase in the number of phishing emails being sent from New School email addresses. These emails typically direct the reader to a web page that requests account information such as usernames and passwords. Please be aware that the New School's Information Technology department, including the Help Desk, or any other university department will NEVER request account information from you in this manner. These emails should be ignored.
If you think you've been the victim of a phishing email and given out an account name and password, credit card information, or other account information, you should visit account.newschool.edu to change your password, and contact the Help Desk at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 212.229.5300 x2828.
