The New School provides all students (enrolled in the current term), faculty, and administrative staff with subscriptions for the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications. All home-use subscriptions provided by The New School are equipped with 2GB of cloud-storage.
Adobe Creative Cloud subscriptions allow you to install Adobe Creative Cloud software on your personal computer.
With your home-use subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud you can keep your Adobe application files in your Adobe cloud storage space. This way, you can access your files from any computer with an Internet connection, without having to transfer your files from one drive to another.
In order to access your subscription for Adobe Creative Cloud and download the software on your personal computer, login to MyNewSchool and select the Services tab. In the Adobe channel you will find the links needed.
Adobe Creative Cloud applications are also available in campus technology labs and classroom workstations.
Faculty and Staff should not use their individual home-use subscription to install Adobe Creative Cloud Software on university office hardware. Installations of Adobe Creative Cloud on university office workstations should be coordinated through the IT Service Desk (formerly Help Desk) at 212.229.5300 x4357, or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Parsons students will want to download and downloading and run the Parsons Laptop Requirements Check application. This will allow you to see whether your laptop meets the specifications required by the Parsons curriculum.
