General Announcement List

The Center maintains a general announcement list for those interested in being kept up to date on current projects and events. In so doing, we hope to facilitate communication among academic and other researchers sharing interests in particular areas. Our desire is to create an online forum for the exchange of information, papers and announcements.

To participate, simply send a message to icmec@newschool.edu stating:

(1) your full name;
(2) professional affiliation;
(3) address and phone number;
(4) whether you would like to be added to our mailing list for invitations to New York-area events.

The 1,500-plus subscribers include most of the prominent figures in the field, on all sides of the issue. The service covers developments both in the United States and abroad.

CISNEWS is a moderated list for announcements, news items, reviews, queries, etc. (not just items from CIS, but from anyone who wishes to submit something for consideration). There are 15 or so postings a week.  To join the list, go to http://mail.cis.org/guest/RemoteListSummary/CISNEWS

If you have any questions or problems, contact the Center for Immigration Studies at center@cis.org.
