Customer Service Training, October 2012

10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Providing excellent customer service is a core value of this institution. This workshop helps participants deliver outstanding customer service to both external and internal customers. Basic customer service requirements include a solid understanding of spoken and written communication, the ability to listen to and understand a customer's request, problem-solving skills, and professionalism. Advanced customer service requirements include flexibility, leadership, task orientation, proactiveness, an understanding of how body language and tone affect interactions, a strong work ethic, and a desire to advance the university’s mission. Participants explore challenges, discuss related issues in communication, and provide creative tips for better service.
