The essence of The New School—bold, progressive, dynamic, urban, engaged—is demonstrated in each of its eight schools. Since our founding, we have provided students and the community with valuable opportunities to learn and grow. We have also made it our mission to cultivate environmental awareness. Special programs and events help us fulfill both of these aims, but help is needed to ensure that they thrive. We hope you will join us in supporting these efforts by participating in corporate sponsorships.
In the coming year, The New School will offer a variety of social events, performances, and conferences. The university's public events attract thousands of our constituents (students, high-level donors, fashion professionals, policy and research experts, celebrities, and the media). Our events cover a wide array of topics and are consistently cutting-edge, intellectually stimulating, and highly visible.
Select Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities
The New School enriches the community with public programs. Audience members can interact with leading scholars, artists, executives, and politicians in conferences and discussion panels; attend opera, theater, classical music, and jazz performances; and see student work in film festivals.
Symposiums and lecture series allow participants to hone their skills as critical thinkers, effective communicators and agents of social change.
Parsons Senior Fashion Show
The annual runway show is the crowning event for graduating fashion students, featuring the best work by seniors, including Parsons Designers of the Year. The event is one of the industry's most prominent showcases of new talent, offering a glimpse of future fashion. In Spring 2009, Parsons will unveil a new runway format; the event promises to be one of Parsons' most provocative and talked-about runway shows to date. Sponsors receive recognition on promotional materials at this highly visible event.
