Breakdown of Student Activity Fees
passed May 6, 2004

Of the $15 per student, per semester:

• $7 per student goes to student departmental budgets allocated according to enrolment in each department.
    
• The remaining $8 per student will be divided in the following way:
  
  • A flat sum of $250 per semester will go to operational expenses of the GFSS.
  • A flat sum of $250 per semester will go to discretionary expenses of the GFSS, of which, if the entire sum is not used by the end of the year, it will roll over into the fee board.
  • A flat sum of $2500 per semester will be given to Canon, the GF student publication.
  • The remainder of the funds left after taking out the above three items from the $8 per student will be set aside for the fee board.
